A tradition since the early 1980’s

Each year, this impactful event serves hundreds of patients, free of charge.

For decades, the organizers behind Nila-Shuktara Foundation (NSF) have been dedicated to restoring vision and improving lives through the annual Mobile Eye Camp. The Eye Camp has been made possible through the generosity of the expatriate Bangladeshi community in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and across the United States. Inspired by the need for sustainable, year-round support for communities in Alamdanga and surrounding areas, NSF was established.

Our eye camps have touched lives in towns like Alamdanga, Sirajganj, and Narail. Through these events, we’ve:

  • Restored vision for over 500 individuals suffering from cataracts,

  • Provided free prescription glasses to over 1,500 people,

  • Tested the blood pressure and provided eye diagnostics to more than 3,000 individuals.
